Job Overview:
The primary duty of the Venue Coordinator is to oversee operations of the venue and be Harvester Square’s main contact on the day of the event, as well as coordinate elements of planning leading up to event day. This role involves working closely with couples and event planners to execute their event, coordinating with vendors, providing a high level of service to every user of the venue, and ensuring the event day runs smoothly. The ideal team member is organized, detail-oriented, and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete opening and closing responsibilities on the day of the event
- Serve as primary point of contact for couples and event planners on the day of their event
- Conduct site tours and meetings with prospective couples and planners
- Work with Harvester Square owners to develop and understand event timelines and floor plans
- Coordinate all aspects of the event day and stay in constant communication with vendors on the day of the event, ensuring timely delivery of all services
- Manage the event flow, including ceremonies, cocktail hours, receptions, and any other elements of the event
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise and provide immediate solutions
- Represent Harvester Square in a calm and professional manner at all times
